Spellguard
Medium or Small Humanoid, Lawful NeutralMagic-Hardened Bodyguard
Habitat Urban — Treasure Armaments
Spellguards are professional bodyguards who specialize in repelling magical aggression. Spellguards supplement their imposing armor with magical defenses to protect themselves and their charges. They most often work for spellcasters distrustful of rivals, but a spellguard might guard anyone who fears magical foes. The Spellguard Shield is named after this tradition, as that item's power replicates a spellguard's protections.
"Silverymoon's spellguards have my undying loyalty and gratitude. I trust them with my life."
